John Akerman Özgüç

Cinematographer · 360° Photographer · Composer

The founder and single creative hand behind Aquinox Media — building visual stories engineered around how the human brain pays attention, feels, and remembers.

With a formal background in neuropsychology, John approaches every commission as a question of perception: what makes a viewer stop, feel, and act. That lens — neuromarketing and music psychology rather than taste alone — runs through the photography, cinematography, time-lapses, 360° tours, drone work and original scores produced under the Aquinox Media name.

Working from the Netherlands and across Europe, the studio focuses on sustainable and purpose-driven organisations — translating ambition into cinematic, lasting visual presence. The promise is summed up in two words the brand has carried since the start: “Convey with Class.”

The approach

Neuropsychology

A formal background in how attention, emotion and memory actually work — every frame engineered to land, not just to look good.

Music Psychology

An active composer: scores written on tempo–arousal and harmonic-tension principles, because sound is half the emotion.

One Operator

Photography, film, livestream, time-lapse, 360° and drone — a single creative hand from brief to delivery, no agency overhead.

Purpose-Driven

Work focused on sustainable and creative organisations — 10% of profits go to rainforest preservation.

Ten percent of every project becomes rainforest — purchased and preserved. Beautiful work should leave the world better than it found it.
