Iceland — Northern Lights & Frozen Waterfalls

Iceland is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen. I have seen some of natures finest. Auroras so strong that they are visible next to the full moon, frozen waterfalls, seals, and many other things!
A land of fire, ice and endless light
From the geothermal steam drifting over Reykjavík to the black-sand coastlines of the south, Iceland is a photographer's country — a place where the landscape changes by the hour and the light rarely behaves the way you expect.
This series gathers work from across the island: the aurora borealis unfolding over snow, frozen waterfalls held mid-motion, the remote fjords of the Westfjords, and the seals and seabirds that make the coast their home.
Shooting the aurora
Photographing the northern lights is equal parts patience and preparation — clear skies, a dark horizon, and the willingness to stand in the cold long after everyone else has gone to bed. The reward is a sky that moves.
